Indra Yudhistira Ramadhan is well known as a creative person with unlimited innovation in creating various programs and films. He graduated from Columbia Academy of Radio, Television and Recording Arts majoring in TV & Video Production, Canada.
His passion behind the scene challenges him to accomplish excellent works. He produces many prestigious programs, such as Indonesian Idol, Deal or No Deal Indonesia, The Master, RCTI Anniversary concert, Indonesian Movie Awards, Panasonic Awards, AMI (Indonesian Music Awards), Masterpiece of Erwin Gutawa Concert, The Opening and Closing Ceremony SEA GAMES 2011 Palembang, Indonesia.
He masters his work both as a movie director or show director and as an executive producer. His prominent reputation has led him to many international forums as a credible judge; including MTV Movie Awards, Asian Television Awards in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and The 35th Emmy International Awards.
Indra has worked in several movie projects as a film director both in Canada and Indonesia. One of his achievements is “Biarkan Bintang Menari”, which claimed as the first musical drama in Indonesia. Another well-known pieces from him are “Sang Penari” which has won 4 categories in Indonesian Film Festival 2011 (FFI) , Negeri 5 Menara and Garuda di Dadaku 2, where Indra was appointed as Executive Producer in this project.
Indra also known as a creator of performing arts, one of his best is the Opening and Closing Ceremony of Southeast Asia Games (SEA GAMES 2011), which claimed by the press as the Best Opening Ceremony so far in this region. Indra was appointed as a chief director and show director of the Opening and Closing Ceremony SEA GAMES 2011.
Before joining RCTI, Indra worked for Trans TV as Executive Producer. His work had inspired his surrounding to deliver the best of them. His reputable career had positioned him as Vice President of Production Division of RCTI. He had brought the RCTI Production Division to be number one Inhouse Production in Indonesia TV Industry.
In 2010 Indra has been appointed as a Programming and Production Director of Kompas TV, a member of KOMPAS GRAMEDIA GROUP, the largest print media in Indonesia. He also lead Kompas Gramedia Production, a production company who produces many great movies, such as Garuda di Dadaku 2, Negeri 5 menara dan Sang Penari. In 2012, Kompas TV won Citra Adipariwara as The Best TV Station of the year. Since Sept 2012 until now, Indra has been working for Indosiar TV as A Deputy Director Production. In March 2014, Indosiar become number 1 TV Station in Indonesia.
